Saw Loser

In a season that saw many ups and downs among her competitors, Aguilar was crowned The Biggest Loser: Families’ winner during last night’s live finale broadcast of the reality weight-loss series’ sixth season. After watching Biggest Loser last night it really got me motivated and I saw this post last week… here’s hoping I win the Wii!! In an announcement that no one likely saw coming legendary actor Peter Fonda and legendary loser Judd Nelson have both joined the cast of Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day. I saw a Google ad yesterday that caught my eye it was a ‘loser’ who wanted to raise a million dollars by year end and he was doing it by begging for the money. I thought to myself ‘outrageous’ but does it work? If you watched the debate, surely you saw this … In every economic boom and bust, there are winners and losers. Never before in American history, or any other history, have the winners won so much. We have never seen a period in American history that matched the increase in executive pay that we saw from 2001 to 2007. It is mind-boggling. The Mets, losers of 2 of their 3 games against Atlanta, saw their starter Pedro Martinez pounded in a 5 run onslaught in the 6th and 7th innings by Washington who held a 2-1 lead after 5. Martinez was chased in the sixth as the Braves scored 2, and reliever Duaner Sanchez was pummelled for 3 more runs in the 7th enroute to a Nationals 7-2 win. At Thursday’s National Service Forum held at Columbia University, we saw more similarities than differences between John McCain and Barack Obama. And though I thought each candidate did well enough to get at least a low B, there was no obvious big winner or loser, at least not on the stage. UM Football Coach Randy Shannon is a big whiner. Running up the score is baby talk. Only sore losers whine about running up the score. I’m not a Gator fan, but I saw the game, and his comments are ridiculous. He’s a child.
